Ho Chi Minh Airport District

Tan Binh District is in northwest Ho Chi Minh City and Tan Son Nhat International Airport lies in the south of this area. Tan Binh is made up of large residential areas with a variety of good restaurants, fine boutiques and malls including Big C and Parkson CT Plaza. Two- to five-star hotels are scattered around this district and there’s something for everyone, especially business travelers who prefer to be a bit outside the chaos downtown but not too far away from the action. Saigon city centre is about 20-30 minutes away (depending on the traffic) by taxi from the airport.

Tan Son Nhat International Airport handles over 10 million passengers each year. The airport is clean, efficient and features an information centre, ATMs, money exchange booths, duty-free shops, gift and jewellery shops, bookstores, fast food outlets, restaurants, internet cafés, bars and storage lockers – in fact everything an international airport should have by way of amenities.
