This Saigon – Cao Dai Temple – Cu Chi Tunnels Muslim Tour 1 Day is organized for Muslim tourists with Halal Lunch, you will visit Cao Dai Temple & Cu Chi tunnels. Cao Dai Great Temple was built between 1933 and 1955 in Tay Ninh – a province that is about 95 km southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, close to the Cambodian border.
The Cao Dai Temple is like a Walt Disney fantasia of the East. Its exterior is decorated with multi-colored dragons of all shapes and sizes competing for space with a number of swastikas. Above the main entrance is the all-seeing holy eye, the symbol of the Cao Dai sect. The interior is just as engaging as statues of Jesus Christ, Buddha, and the Hindu god, Brahma, stand side by side.
Cao Dai Temple is an eclectic mix of colors and the amazing use of architecture creates a space of beauty, and spirituality with a somewhat surreal flavor to Western palates! The Great Temple is 140m long and 40m wide. It has 4 towers each with a different name: Tam Dai, Hiep Thien Dai, Cuu Trung Dai, and Bat Quai Dai. The interior of the temple consists of a colonnaded hall and a sanctuary. Cu Chi district is well-known nationwide as the base where the Vietnamese mounted their operations of the Tet Offensive in 1968.
